A man-at-arms out of Schleswig — formerly part of King Fathmu IX's scattering apparatus of city guards — now stranded in Graven-Tosk with Arga the Galgenbeck priest and Stein the Grift merchant. He helped kill The Undertaker in the Undertaker's Hut when she would not give them a way out of the cemetery. They are still there.
The crossbow is the most dangerous weapon in the hut. He believes in chores and first-watch the way a man believes in something that used to keep him alive.
