The Undertaker's Hut
a stone hut at the heart of the cemetery, where chores are assigned and the dead come up out of the dirt
"Stone hut with a thatched roof and walls covered in creeping vines. Outside: piles of logs, a dozen barrels, and half as many freshly made coffins. A robed woman's body in an open grave, beside her a worn shovel. Behind the hut: a small garden, overgrown." The intermingled smell of wet lumber and rotting flesh. Light flees through the cracks of a closed window shutter. Muffled voices are audible inside.
This is the dwelling of The Undertaker — the one who "dug graves and made coffins, buried corpses and left them to rot. Some refused to do so quietly. Some, she silenced herself. Some died. Some didn't." It is also the dwelling, now, of The Deadn't — Stein, Benzen, and Arga — the three living people who killed her in their attempt to escape Graven-Tosk and discovered they could not leave either. When the PCs arrive the trio are inside, assigning chores and arguing about first watch.
Whatever path the Graveyard fog leads on, once four sub-locations have been visited, the next walk delivers the party here. The Roach Herder knows the way without help. This is where every visit to Graven-Tosk ends: at some point during the encounter "the air grows suddenly chill and the ever-present flies' buzzing seems strangely distant," and the body in the open grave rises as The Übertaker.
Graven-Tosk, Graves Left Wanting, The Undertaker, The Übertaker, The Deadn't, Stein, Benzen, Arga, The Roach Herder
The contents of the barrels are unspecified — coffin nails, salt, lime, whatever a gravedigger keeps. The garden behind the hut is overgrown; what was planted is canon-silent (food, herbs, or whatever the Undertaker fed her silenced ones). Whether there is anything inside the hut besides the Deadn't and their bickering is left for the GM to furnish.
