Anuk Schleger

The monk of the Creton Order who, in the year 565, encountered the basilisk Verhu and set down that creature's whispered prophecies. These lost texts came to be known as the Nameless Scriptures.

Three hundred years later, while orthodox masons of the Creton order — the Two-Headed Basilisks — broke ground for a new Cathedral, they uncovered Schleger's tomb and recovered the Scriptures.

Every event recorded in them has since come to pass.

Gaps / Expansion Notes

Schleger died at some point between writing the Scriptures and being entombed where the Cathedral would eventually rise. Cause and circumstance unwritten. His original monastery (the original Creton order) is unnamed and unlocated. Whether anything else in his tomb survived alongside the Scriptures (relics, personal effects, fragments of unfulfilled prophecy) is open.
