The mother-church of Verhu's faith and the seat of the Two-Headed Basilisks order. Around it grew Galgenbeck, the greatest city that ever was — the Cathedral predates the city around it.
Three hundred years after the monk Anuk Schleger transcribed the lost Nameless Scriptures, orthodox masons of the Creton branch broke ground here for a new Cathedral and uncovered Schleger's tomb beneath, and the writings with it. Every prophecy since has come to pass.
Deep beneath the Cathedral, in a cool black chamber crossed by shards of light, lies the throne of arch-priestess Josilfa Migol.
Lady Porcelain dolls — the children of relic thieves and corrupt clerks — are placed in cathedral windows to die slowly of starvation and heat as punishment. Many return as vengeful undead.

The Cathedral's plan, undercroft, library, and the exact location of Schleger's discovered tomb are undescribed. The "Heretical Priest" origin 1 places one such priest "near the cathedral" — implying the area around it has its own warren of heresy.
