HE
The basilisk who survived. SHE cast all her spawn down the cliffs of Bergen Chrypt but HE crawled away and lived. He coils now somewhere within the crypts of the Valley of the Unfortunate Undead, where he is rumored to be — though the sight is infrequently survived.
HE bears two heads: Verhu, Prophecy, full of himself and worshipped above all others; and Gorgh, Envy, rank with bitterness that only Verhu knows the damned truth. Time and time again Gorgh's prophecies come true. The piles of gold-gift riches from his faithful teeter and slide, so tall are they.
His eyes are locked upon the mountain's peak where his mother dwells. He still spits curses.
Adventure seed 69–70 reads simply: "HE demands a gift. See it delivered."

The location of his lair in the Valley's crypts is undefined. Why pilgrims still seek him out — to plead, to bargain, to murder him — is canonical motivation for adventurers (see Heretical Priest origin 4 and adventure seed 69–70) but the rituals and outcomes are blank.
