Heedless Creation

A spiraling cosmic force. The Spiral Chapel within the ruins around the Death Ziggurat is dedicated to it — the ceiling a painted night sky with a galaxy whirling at its center. Behind a mural of a priest gazing out over the Cosmos is hidden the Spiral Crown, a silver halo set with gemstones in a swirling pattern. Whoever wears the crown becomes a cosmic vessel and sees strange and nightmarish visions of the infinite, collapsing Cosmos.

This is older than the Two-Headed Basilisks and older than the prison-cult of the Creton Order that bound Akünh. What it is exactly — a power, a process, an entity — is not said.
