Tveland

The land that holds Galgenbeck. "In Tveland relic thieves, defamers and corrupt clerks suffer a punishment of exquisite and deeply impractical cruelty" — their children or grandchildren are enclosed in porcelain dolls and placed in cathedral windows to die slowly. Despite warding rituals, many return as Lady Porcelain undead, gathering in large throngs to hunt their tormentors; their mad gaze demands a Presence DR12 test at the start of combat or be frozen with fear for d4 rounds.

In Tveland also lies Sarkash, the spreading forest that contains Graven-Tosk and the Palace of the Shadow King. The death-obsessed cultists who haunt the Death Ziggurat come from a plague-wracked Tveland hovel.

Among Galgenbeck's noble holdings sits Klefunheim, seat of baroness Jota Klefunheim"tall, perpetually annoyed, some kind of baroness or princess" — presently unaffected by the goblin curse but expecting to be.

Adventure seeds describe "the untamed wilds of Tveland" as a place where one's life is risked.

Native Fauna (Eat-Prey-Kill, p.4)

The Tveland steppes and untamed wilds breed a regional bestiary all their own:

Gaps / Expansion Notes

Tveland's borders, ruling political structure outside of Galgenbeck, and its other settlements are unmapped. The Merchant carries "Tveland" goods (Stone Dagger, Tongue of a False Prophet, Two-headed Silver Ring, etc.) implying a regional artisan tradition. The plague-wracked Tveland hovel that birthed the Death Ziggurat cult remains unnamed. Klefunheim's holdings and its relationship to Josilfa Migol's priestly Galgenbeck are unwritten.
