The Gourmand's Cutlery
A beautiful knife and fork found in the Chapel of Filth in the catacomb-labyrinth beneath the storm-burrow where Silas the Fattened King now reigns. The cutlery allows the wielder to eat anything. Which is good, as the user becomes famished and must eat. Luckily, everything tastes wonderful. Silas was overcome — all he wants to do is eat, so he has compelled the Fleshy Automatons of the labyrinth to feed him.
The labyrinth was once the home of an obscure cult of bacchanalian priests dedicated to a goddess of fat and plenty. The statue in the Chapel of Filth — an imposing, corpulent woman with opal eyes — compelled Silas to use the Cutlery.
Bloat (adventure), Silas the Fattened King, Fleshy Automaton, Goddess of Fat and Plenty
The "goddess of fat and plenty" is named only by domain — no proper name. Whether the statue's compulsion is bound to the cutlery or to the statue itself is open. Whether discarding the Cutlery after eating cures the famine, or whether the famine becomes permanent, is GM-judgment.
