Fela Maus
the legendary bard-made-noble, drowned in her own bile
"The legendary bard-made-noble Fela Maus was cursed by a bog hag after neglecting to fulfill her part of a long-forgotten occult enterprise."
She is no longer animate. Her bones float in Maus' Vomatorium — a marble coffin atop a dais leaking yellow gall from a bubbling lid, set in an ornate stone chamber whose flagstone floor has been eroded by pools of green and yellow gall over centuries. The sour stomach-broth corrodes flesh but not bone, dealing d6 damage per round near the dais. Walking up to the coffin surely results in burnt flesh and ruined shoes.
Floating with her in the wicked liquid is the Roseate Baritona — her favorite instrument, a heresy-inscribed cursed organ. Human-sized ivory horn bedecked with Maus' family's skulls and bound in magical entrails. When blown, it spews a noise that forces listeners to test Toughness DR10 or vomit acid, taking d6 damage. Blower beware.
The bog hag's punishment turned the bard's instrument against her family's faces and reduced her noble line to a slick of skull and gall. That she rose to nobility from a wandering bard's life is the only canonical detail about her career — the songs she sang, the rooms she sang in, and the occult enterprise she failed to complete are gone with her.

The bog hag is named in canon once and never described — possibly a Wästland bog-witch (compare Pale One origin 5: "hatched from an egg laid by a bog-witch in a Wästland swamp"), possibly something older. The "long-forgotten occult enterprise" Maus failed is opaque — a pact? a song? a marriage? Maus' family is named through their skulls on the Baritona but no individual member is identified. Whether her bones can be reassembled and re-cursed is uncommented.
