Lesdy
Long dark hair, dressed in a gunny sack with armholes. Nice but manipulative. Lairs in the Greenhouse of the Accursed Den — a hot stuffy chamber of palms, cacti, and flowers under dim moonlight — with three young, zealous "hosts" who attack with long knives.
She seeks the tunnels and caves deep beneath Rotblack Sludge. She believes consuming the sludge provides unique powers to control creatures — but when she tries, the Gutworm attacks her as soon as she gets close. She is trying to turn the Gutworm against Fletcher, whom she opposes.
Offers PCs food and rest if they reach her camp.
Stat block: HP 5, Morale 4, No armor. Unarmed attack d4. (Lesdy rarely throws her own hands — she fights through her hosts. Her Morale of 4 is the lowest of any boss-tier NPC in canon.)
The Three Hosts — young, dressed in rags. Zealous. HP 7, Morale —, No armor. Long knives d6. They will not flee. They chant: "Lesdy… Lusi… Lesdy… the chosen, the delightful!"
Lesdy's past is unwritten. How she came to the Greenhouse, how she recruited the three hosts, and what she has actually learned about the sludge's powers are all open. The deep caves beneath the sludge are mentioned but not detailed — Lesdy's true goal lies there.
