Old Sigûrd's Sling
woven from a dead man's grey hair
2d4 damage. Requires fist-sized rocks, which (perhaps regrettably) are everywhere.
Woven from the long grey hair of Sigûrd, the strongest man whose throat a Fanged Deserter ever gnawed. The sling has never failed its present owner. Whether it would have failed Sigûrd, had he lived to throw stones with it, is not known.

Gaps / Expansion Notes
The sling is sentient enough to "never fail" — implying minor binding magic, or implying a curse of the strongest man's ghost following the pouch. Whether cutting the hair undoes the binding is a GM call. What rocks the sling refuses, if any, is unwritten.
