The Spider-Owl is the third ingredient of Spider-Owl soup — a decoction brewed by the Occult Herbmaster that grants night-vision and wall-climbing for thirty minutes.
The bird is at least eight-legged. The bird at least flies. Whether the legs end in claws or in venomed feet, whether the eyes are eight or two, whether it spins or merely hunts — canon does not say. The soup is grey, and good.
