Urgrip Wikt

tells wild stories, large family, infected, exceedingly poor

A worried peasant of Galgenbeck. Infected with the Goblin Curse and unable to afford Nagel Krat's ever-rising Goblin Cure, he hires the PCs in trade rather than silver — "Urgrip knows he's likely doomed, but his family isn't." The heirloom he offers in payment is the Calumny Pearl"unknown to him," a curse-relic that makes the holder entirely believe the first lie told to them once placed beneath the tongue. He tells wild stories. He has a large family. He does not know what he owns.

Gaps / Expansion Notes

Almost nothing else exists. His family is "large" but unenumerated. The wild stories he tells are uncatalogued and might or might not be true — he is, after all, the kind of man who would call a Calumny Pearl an heirloom and not know it. How long he has until the goblin transformation completes is left to the GM's mercy. Whether the heirloom predates his family or merely the most recent generation is unwritten.
