One of two heads borne by SHE. Lusi is Denial. She looks up and looks down. She says, always: yet all shall be well.
She is the head least described in all of canon. Source devotes a single sentence and a single phrase to her, and they contradict everything else the Two-Headed Basilisk faith stands on. The world is dying. Verhu predicts annihilation. Lusi says it will be fine.
What She Does
- She says it's fine. That is the entire canonical content of her ministry. Yet all shall be well. When everything is going wrong, Lusi's path says it is not. When the Misery wakes, Lusi's path says it didn't. When the world ends, Lusi will say it hasn't.
- She is walked. Source: "many walk her twin paths" — paired with Arkh, her twin (Deception). Lusi's path is denial of the truth; Arkh's is the lie itself. Together they form a counter-faith to Verhu's apocalypse-cult.
- Her name surfaces in chants. In the Accursed Den (room 11), Lesdy's hosts chant "Lesdy... Lusi... Lesdy... the chosen, the delightful!" before attacking — the only canonical instance of Lusi's name spoken aloud in a scenario. Whether Lesdy is a true Lusi-cultist or a syncretist using the name is open.
How She Appears in Scenes
She does not appear. Lusi is the canonical embodiment of not appearing. Her followers appear. Her name is invoked. Her phrase is repeated. The basilisk-head itself sits atop SHE in Bergen Chrypt, looks up and down, and says it's fine.
A PC trying to find Lusi will be told there is nothing to find. A PC trying to confirm a disaster will hear Lusi's followers tell them no disaster has occurred. A PC carrying news of the Calendar of Nechrubel's daily roll will be politely asked to be quiet.
Relationships as Actor
- Mother: SHE.
- Twin: Arkh (Deception — Lusi denies; Arkh lies).
- Rivals: Verhu (Prophecy — Lusi denies what Verhu predicts); Gorgh (Envy — too busy resenting Verhu to bother denying anything).
- Possible followers: Lesdy and her three hosts in the Accursed Den chant her name. Unconfirmed whether this is a real cult or appropriated invocation.

No stat block. No physical description beyond "looks up and down." Her "twin paths" with Arkh are unmapped. The Lesdy connection is the only scenario-level appearance of her name and is itself ambiguous — Lesdy uses the chant but pursues sludge-power and Gutworm control, neither of which obviously serves Lusi. Whether Lusi-as-cosmic-denial enables the world to keep functioning (the only reason the apocalypse hasn't already happened is that her path keeps people from believing it will) is a perfect GM thread and entirely uncanonical.
