A name remembered only by a philtre. Fernor's philtre — a translucent oil dabbed straight into the eye, brewed by an Occult Herbmaster. Heals infection and grants +2 on Presence tests for d4 hours. The eye weeps for a day afterward.

Whether Fernor was the first to take the philtre into their own eye, or the first to put it into another's, is unwritten. The recipe survives. The face does not.
