Thel-emas' Lost Temple

A temple no living priest has stood in. Thel-emas, whoever he was, kept stones in his sanctum that whispered the shape of the next room — danger, or no danger. They still whisper. They still lie. A Heretical Priest carrying a fistful of them tests Presence dr10 to know truth from lie, but failure means the stones go silent until dusk.

The temple itself is not on any map known to the Two-Headed Basilisks. Some among the Inquisition say it was unbuilt — pulled down by its own god and the rubble dispersed. Others say the temple still stands, and only the road to it has been lost.

Gaps / Expansion Notes

Thel-emas himself is named only as the temple's possessor — saint, priest, god, or thief, take your pick. The stones lie by their own will, not the priest's misreading — this is the seed. If the temple were found, would it return the stones to truthful sleep, or to wakeful prophecy?
