The Blade of Your Ancestors

a foppish, unreliable talking sword that quietly despises you

Magnificent and clearly magical. Deals d6+1 damage. Attack/Defence dr 10.

The Blade speaks. The Blade taunts the Wretched Royalty who carries it, mocks failures, and — if continually disappointed — develops a 1-in-6 chance to "accidentally" strike its bearer or their companions. The court swordsmith who gave it the voice was hanged. The voice remained.

Connections

Wretched Royalty, Eurekia (the other royal blade — cursed where this one is merely cruel)

Gaps / Expansion Notes

Whose ancestors? The royal line of Fathmu IX? Zigmund's line? An older house lost in Südglans? The blade's opinions could be a whole NPC — what it thinks of Anthelia, of the Two-Headed Basilisks, of the dying world. Two royal talking-swords in one class (this and Eurekia) suggests the line is unusually well-armed and badly cursed.
