Invisible College
the hidden academy of one-day scrolls
An Esoteric Hermit who is an Initiate of the Invisible College may, once per day, summon d2 scrolls — sacred on a 1–2, unclean on a 3–4. The scrolls work once. If they are not used before sunrise, they turn to ash.
The College is not on any map. Its initiates do not gather. Its lectures, if there ever were any, are over. What survives is the right to call up a single morning's worth of pages — and the ash to remember them by.

The College's existence is implied through Initiate-status only. Whether other classes can be initiated, whether the College has a visible counterpart (or once did), whether the ash itself is a reagent — all unwritten. A perfect seed for a hunted-cult or hermit-network campaign.
