Tunnel Sneak

malleable man-shape, fits through impossible cracks

HP 12, Morale −, Malleable form −d2, Claws d6

Special: Although the size of a grown man, its malleable form fits through the most unlikely of openings. The PC with the highest Presence must make a DR14 test after tracking down a Tunnel Sneak. Failure means it found you first, and a random party member is hit with a sneaky claw strike dealing d6 + 3 damage.

Lore: It moves silently through cracks, crevices and catacombs in search of its next meal. The catacombs of Bergen Chrypt are riddled with their tracks, where there is anything to track at all. A Tunnel Sneak fits where you do not. That is the rule. That is always the rule.

Gaps / Expansion Notes

Whether the malleable form is bone-soft or skinless or some other catacomb adaptation is open. Tunnel Sneaks presumably nest deep in Bergen Chrypt's unmapped catacombs, contributing to the booklet's "infinite catacombs" canon.
