Tar-pelted Goats
charcoal-furred and shamefully edible
HP 6, Morale 7, Fur −d2, Horns d6
Encountered in herds of d8.
Special: Thick, warm fur the color of charcoal. They smell of wooden ships, hemp, coal-tar, and vomit. The meat tastes like a bite, but they made sure of that.
Lore: Freshly coated in tar — by themselves, by herd-instinct, by something darker. They reek of sulfur and vomit and the smoke of burning pitch. Hunters in Kergüs eat them anyway, because Kergüs is what it is, and a meal is a meal.

Gaps / Expansion Notes
Whether the tar serves an insulating purpose in the cold, repels predators, or is the herd's slow worship of some pitch-black god is left to the cold and the herders.
