Creatures

Molar Bear

teeth made for chewing

HP 16, Morale −, Thick fur −d4, Claws d8

Special: Being eaten by a Molar Bear is said to be one of the most grueling ways to go. Their meat tastes like biting, but they may be sure they were made for chewing.

Lore: The mouth is full of flat, grinding plates. The teeth are not for tearing. They are for taking apart what is still alive, slowly, in the way a man chews bread. Kergüs hunters tell their families that the Molar Bear is the kindest death. The hunters lie to their families about a great many things.

Gaps / Expansion Notes

Whether the Molar Bear is a corrupted polar form, a Bergen Chrypt species displaced north, or its own lineage is unwritten. Bergen Chrypt's Cursed Skinwalker-form is canonical and separate.
